Here are some questions to ask yourself when searching for an employee volunteer opportunity:
- What social issues do your employees see as important?
- How do your employees currently volunteer on their own?
- What causes best match the business that your company is in?
- What business goals should your employee volunteering support?
- What other goals do your have for your employee volunteer program?
- What kind of time commitment can your employees make?
- Do they wish to involve their families in the volunteer project?
- Are there age, health or skill requirements for the volunteer project?
- What special skills do your employees bring to the volunteer project?
