Volunteer to Learn – Learn to Volunteer
Community Service Learning (CSL) uses experiential learning, in the form of purposeful volunteer experience, to bring to life theories and methods learned in the classroom. Students are volunteering to expand learning while learning the value of volunteering in the community. Non-profit organizations benefit from the work of motivated, skilled students. CSL also builds partnerships between students, instructors and local community organizations, in order to meet needs in the community.

We Connect Education to Community
Volunteer Calgary connects a variety of post secondary courses to non-profit organizations with relevant needs. Through a proposal process we match skilled, motivated students to fulfill a specialized need with our non-profit members. We also assist members to accommodate CSL through training and ongoing support.
