About Us

Leadership Calgary is a community based, leadership development program offered by Volunteer Calgary. The program builds capacity in participants to understand and navigate real world challenges and promotes greater responsibility in community at all levels. Each year a group of individuals representing the public, private and non-profit sectors embark on a 10 month leadership journey.

The program connects people across sectors, cultures, and systems - so we can understand our commonalities and our interdependence. This experience often leads to a deeper understanding of the patterns of human nature in ourselves and others, and new awareness of the processes of thinking, learning and action.
