Add Volunteer Experience to Your Resume

One way to get noticed by a potential employer is to include your volunteer experience on your resume. Show that you are interested and active in the community in which you live. It might just make the difference!

QUESTION - Hey, I'm a grade 10 and I'm looking for some tips/advice on how I could get some scholarships. I have about 10 hours of volunteering.

RESPONSE - First things first: Get more volunteers hours. And, don't just get them from one place, go to different places. A lot of scholarships are about volunteer work and what you learnt from each of the places.
 

Most scholarships require students to have volunteer experience!
