Your gift, large or small, helps Volunteer Calgary build a stronger community by promoting the value of volunteering, connecting people to volunteer opportunities, strengthening the ability of groups and individuals to support volunteers, and providing leadership on issues related to volunteerism. Since 1955 we have been enabling Calgarians to make our community a better place for everyone through volunteer efforts.

How do I know my donation will be used ethically and effectively?

As a registered charity, Volunteer Calgary is subjected to rigorous annual reporting to the Canada Revenue Agency to maintain our registered status. We are also required to complete ongoing reports for various corporate and government donors, Volunteer Calgary's board of directors, and other stakeholders. Volunteer Calgary's charitable registration number is 10818 6305 RR0001.

This year Volunteer Calgary hopes to raise an estimated $15,000 from public donations, at an approximate cost of $500. This represents less than 1% of the total revenues required to ensure that Volunteer Calgary is able to continue its work leading, promoting, connecting and strengthening volunteerism.
