Volunteer Calgary

Training

Volunteer Calgary is committed to strengthening the ability of voluntary organizations and managers of volunteers to support and effectively involve volunteers into the work of their organizations. Volunteer Calgary strives for excellence and professionalism in the training we offer to ensure that the work we do is relevant and meaningful to our participants. We believe in sharing our expertise in the areas of Volunteer Management and Human Resources by providing comprehensive training opportunities to organizations in the voluntary sector.

Training Schedule

Cancellation Policy

Notice of cancellation must be received 48 hours prior to workshop.  Late cancellation or failure to attend will result in an additional $25 administration fee.  If a participant is unable to attend, a substitute participant will be accepted if the substitute has the necessary prerequisite course.

For more information on training, or to register for any of our training courses email our Registration Desk.

Bursaries

Volunteer Calgary believes that all voluntary organizations should have access to training in order to effectively involve volunteers. We have bursaries available to offset the cost to workshop participants with the generous support of the Mary & Bruce Dunlop through the Calgary Foundation. Bursary decisions will be based on the need of the organization. Qualifications are stated in the bursary application.
If you require additional information on bursaries, please email our Registration Desk.
